Weekly Dates Part II Let's just list down the places W and I visited this month:
- MRCCC Siloam because I have some insurance errands to do.
- Gordi for work, also met R for a quick chat.
- Groovy Pet Care to groom my furbabies.
- Sushi Hiro for a quick brunch.
- Konro Karebosi at Kelapa Gading.
- Selah Coffee & Kitchen (newfound love at Puri area!).
- Senayan City & Plaza Senayan.
- Bersih Sehat for 60 minutes reflexology.
As much as this dates bring me joy, let me just remind you once again, that we strongly advise you to stay home. Us going out was 100% foolish and reckless.
First Sangjit In the beginning of August, my cousin just got engaged and this is the first time ever me and my sister went for a Chinese engagement / Sangjit. We also got to wear cheongsam for this event. Oh, my sister also cut my hair literally an hour before the event and she obviously just had to cut it too short.
Signs of Allergy On one visit to Selah, I decided to take a picture for work, which required me to wear a makup. Soon after the makeup's on, I noticed that bumps are appearing on my skin. But I just let it slide. Bad move. You'll know why on my September's roundup lol.
Meeting the Family If you go back to my date list, you'll see that I visited Senayan City with W. What I didn't tell you before is that I did not only meet W that day, I met his whole family. Again, it was pretty scary at first but I think it went pretty well (for me).
Getting Tested When my house assistant is back from her hometown, I immediately booked for a test at RSPI Puri Indah on Monday. Since I'm gonna be accompanying her, I thought I might as well get tested as well. So we went. Couple hours later, our results came back negative. On the very same day, W also did his PCR Swab test for his flight requirement. Afterwards, W and I went for a massage at Bersih Sehat and coffee at Selah.
The Positive News The very next day (Tuesday), W and I planned to meet again after lunch. So, when he called at 12ish after I finished my makeup, I asked did he arrived yet, to which he replied, that his test came back positive. What?
At times like this, I would love to give myself a pat on my back because I did not freaked out (I have plenty reasons why I should be freaking out for example like how we were together all day literally the day before?). Weirdly, I'm not scared like, at all, but I did immediately book another Immunoassay test for Thursday.
That day, W and I Facetimed all day while he called his friends, cancelled his flights, and so on. Then, he self quarantined for two weeks before finally tested negative :)
A Day at the Hospital I have a bump on my right eyelid. It's hard, it's not red, it's not painful, but it definitely isn't going away. Plus, my tooth's been aching on and off. So, I take a day off from work on July 31 and went back to RSPI Puri Indah.
After a quick consult with the GP, I was referred to take a blood test for thyroid, a consult with ophthalmologist, and a consult with a dentist. Here's how the day went:
10.00 – Consult with the GP
10.30 – Blood test (which was done in a room with a Finding Nemo wallpaper)
11.00 – Eye consult. The doctor said my eye need a surgery and it'll only took 15 minutes. She first stabbed my eyelid with a needle to numb it down. Afterwards she flipped my eyelid, told me to press it to keep it flipped, then I can literally feel her cutting my eyelid and scraping the insides of it.
11.45 – Consult with the dentist. Instead of fixing my wisdom tooth, the doctor said that the hole on my teeth is the one we need to focus first, so she fixed my holes and referred me to a mouth surgeon (?).
12.30 – My eyes started to feel painful and I can see blood on the corner of my eye, so I went back to the ophthalmologist and asked for a bandage to keep it clean in case I'm going to rub my eyes.
13.00 – went to see the tooth doctor, he looked at my eye and immediately said that I should do the surgery on another day. He did told me to get a panoramic picture first, though.
13.10 – Took my panoramic dental x-ray.
13.30 – Getting the meds, then went home.
You know... I'm just really, really, glad that August is finally over.

Nintendo Switch Lite This is a very impulsive purchase. I feel like my sister is persuading me so much that I finally gave in and bought one. Well, it is fun to play animal crossing. I read a tweet that says playing animal crossing is fun because it give you a sense of control which you do not have in life and I couldn't agree more.

The Milky Things Honestly... the Mint Chocolate Chip milk tasted more like a banana milk. It was tasty, but not the mint chocolate chip taste I was expecting.
Sociolla's Internal Sale Aside from getting things for my friends, on this session of internal sale I bought myself a DHC Eyelash Serum because I can see that my eyelashes have been getting more and more sparse.
Salty Belly Since the owner's my mutual on Instagram, I've been eyeing their truffle dimsum for a while so I finally bought one for W and he loved it!
