The Isolation Continues  Even though I have tested negative for Covid-19, I had close contact with W, who's positive, so we isolated together for a good 2 weeks. We stayed on Facetime so, so, so much that even Facetime itself can't keep up. It kept on closing itself or just showing black screen even though the camera's on.

One of the package W sent me during our quarantine period ;)

More Allergy  Remember how I told you that my skin's showing signs of allergy? Well, now it is clearly an allergic reaction to something because my face is full of whiteheads out of nowhere. After a couple of consults at Halodoc, my skin is now back to normal. I might do a separate post dedicated to this allergy drama.

Buttermilk Chicken from Dapur Ruben  After seeing the amazing reviews for these buttermilk chicken for a while, I decided to place an order. I even ordered extra sauce because that's what everyone's suggesting on the reviews. The verdict? It was pretty underwhelming. The chicken wasn't as tasty nor as flavorful as I expected, some even only tasted good because of the batter (I mean, the seasoning hasn't really seeped in into the meat). You'll know why I ordered if you saw the reviews. Here's the link to the acc.

Carlino Bakes  If there's anything this'll tell you, it is that I never learn. Again, because I saw so many people raving about their Goguma Pang or Korean Sweet Potato Bread, I ordered one box. I also ordered their best selling Sea Salt Brownies. Well, turns out I don't really like sweet potato so it's a no for me. The brownies is fine. But, I do really like their packaging. Order yours here.

The Complete Kane Chronicles  I FINALLY FINISHED A BOOK! It's actually a 3 books cramped into one. This is a series from Rick Riordan, the author of Percy Jackson, but instead of Greek Mythology, The Kane Chronicles revolves around the Egypt Mythology. Aside from the history lessons about the Egyptians and their Gods, this is also a very light and entertaining book.

Cheers,
